Venezuela Total Adventure Tour - 9 days / 8 nights
Caracas – Canaima / Angel Falls – Orinoco Delta – Los Roques Archipelago

Arrival Caracas. Reception at airport and transfer to our hotel. Hotel Ole Caribe (4*) or similar.

Caracas – Canaima National Park. Early in the morning transfer to airport for our flight to Canaima, via Puerto Ordaz. Arrival to Canaima Airport and short transfer to Waku Lodge – (superior lodge). After lunch at the camp, we depart for a half-day excursion to Sapo Falls. We board our dugout canoes at Canaima beach, and cross Canaima lagoon with impressive views of its seven waterfalls. A short walk through savannah, and we start walking behind the impressive water curtain of Sapo Falls! It is a truly exhilarating experience: a cliff to the right, the roaring falls to the left, and water spray everywhere. Once on the other side of the curtain, during the dry season – January to April - we can walk to the top of the falls for a wonderful view of the Tepuys landscape. Return to Canaima beach. The fall might have less water in the dry season. Dinner at camp.

Canaima. Depending on the season, we can choose between a wide range of excursions in this amazing destination. Our program includes during the rainy season a Full Day excursion to the base of Angel Falls by canoe. Early in the morning we board our motorized dugout canoes or “curiaras” in the Pemón Indian language. We travel up the Carrao River, and cross Mayupa lagoon and the Arautaima rapids, always surrounded by the spectacular landscape of Canaima National Park. We enter Churún River, winding its way through the spectacular Devil's Canyon. One more turn, and we see the highest waterfall on earth! (979 mts.). We leave our canoes, and walk for an hour through virgin rainforest, until arriving at a rocky ledge. We suddenly stand before the magnificence of the Angel Falls, a few hundred meters away, becoming drenched by the frenzy of spray. A truly unforgettable and awesome sight! We can take a refreshing bath in the lagoon at the base of the fall. Lunch. In the afternoon return to Canaima. Dinner at camp.

Canaima – Orinoco Delta. After breakfast we fly to Puerto Ordaz and then transfer to the port of Boca de Uracoa. From here we enter the Orinoco Delta by boat. We arrive at Mis Palafitos Camp (standard lodge) in time for lunch. Afternoon excursion in the Delta. The Orinoco Delta is a vast, intricate labyrinth of waterways weaving through a simmering jungle to carry the waters of the Orinoco River to the Atlantic Ocean. The Delta has been forming over the course of thousands of years, as the mighty river has deposited millions of tons of sediment into the ocean. The Warao Indians - the “Canoe People” - are the native inhabitants of the Delta. They reside in palafitos (stilt houses) along the banks of the river. Morning and afternoon excursions are done by boats and on foot, through the endless mangroves and creeks of the Delta. A naturalist guide will explore with us the flora and fauna and will show us how to survive in the jungle and fish piranhas!. Dinner at camp.

Orinoco Delta. After breakfast we continue to explore the Delta. In the morning and afternoon, we will make excursions by boat, including survival training in the jungle, piranha fishing, and visit to the Warao Indian communities. Lunch and dinner at camp.

Orinoco Delta – Caracas. Transfer to Puerto Ordaz Airport, just after breakfast. Here we will take flight to Caracas. Transfer to Hotel Ole Caribe or similar.

Caracas - Los Roques Archipelago. Early in the morning transfer to airport for our flight to Los Roques. After 35 minutes, we land on the airstrip of Gran Roque, the only inhabited island of this spectacular archipelago. Boat for a full-day excursion to the islands of the archipelago. Box lunch on the beach, including non-alcoholic beverages. After arrival, the baggage will be transferred to our posada, and we will head directly to the beach where we'll board our boats. In the afternoon, we return to Gran Roque. Lodging and dinner at Posada Albacora (standard posada). Los Roques is one of the largest national parks in the Caribbean, with expansive white sand beaches, warm azure waters and an abundance of marine flora and fauna. Los Roques is an ideal destination for diving and snorkelling, kite surf, fishing, and for enjoying the sea and the sun away from the bustle of larger beach destinations.

Los Roques. After breakfast we'll continue to explore the islands of the archipelago. Lunch on the beach and dinner at our posada.

Los Roques – Caracas. After breakfast we fly to Caracas. Transfer to the International Airport.
